North Trail Collection
The North Trail Collection was dreamt up over our family’s first summer camping in the eastern campsites of Newfoundland, Canada. We spent those first few trips exploring campsites and park trails. We also spent much of that time learning the ins and outs of camplife! This collection uses foraged plants, illustrations and abstract linework to capture the feelings and memories from that trip. I spent my days foraging for pretty plants, leaves, twigs and flowers that would one day come to life in my patterns. My youngest daughter spent her days foraging leaves and berries for her mud cakes. This special moment is represented in the accompanying illustration of her. I wanted to BRING HOME those feelings of being in a deep forested path and listening to the sounds of nature. The North Trail Collection has done just that!
